Joomla Advantages

Starting in March 2009, The Joomla Extensions Directory: http://extensions.joomla.org, will only accept plugins which are licensed under the GPL license.  This means no more commercial plugins will be allowed to be listed in the Joomla Extensions Directory.

This is great news for the Open Source community, and to Joomla webmasters throughout the world looking for new and exciting ways to stimulate their audience using Joomla.
